I cut a lot of 4-5" diameter trees along my 5 miles of woodland trails on my land, this chipper self feeds these trees that are 16 -20' tall. I spend many days a year with my chipper, I cannot say enough positive things about this model or Woodmaxx who give great support.
Apr 29, 2021· JD 2025R, previously Gravely 5650 & JD 4010 & JD 1025R. Your tractor can easily run an 8 inch chipper. Got a 4x6 (WM WC46) on the 2025R, and it just loafs along, about half the PTO hp yours has. Hp only goes up by sq rt of wood diameter. So, double the diameter, and it goes up 40%.

The machine has worked flawlessly and the reverse hydraulics is worth the extra expense. It clears jams in a jiffy. My only concern is with my tractor.
