I concur with both the previous reviewers. This is one superb little mill/drill. It is very quiet and quite capable. I had an old round column mill/drill in the past and this thing is a joy with it's dovetail column. Just crank it up or down and your X & Y locations haven't moved a bit.

You do have to plan your work to avoid having to raise/lower the head if work registration is critical. There are work-arounds, however.
