Jun 15, 2021· Removing a bit of muck seemed to fix it. Now the lens works fine except when I turn on the camera the screw drive makes a grinding noise for a few seconds. Same when I turn it off. The camera is winding the screw to focus on infinity but it gets stuck at the end stop, hence the grinding.
