Nov 11, 2013· Nope - not a power drawbar - that's just the way it is on these mills. The drawbar is captive - the top little square is the part you have to turn to tighten or loosen the drawbar. The part that looks like a cylinder is just the cap that holds it down. It does eliminate the need to tap the drawbar to release the collet.

Jul 22, 2009· Food for thought. One thing you may not be noticing about other power draw bars is that they actually help break the taper on the collet loose and eject the tool. My Kurt draw bar does this by stopping the drawbar from rising up and in return forcing the tool out. Here is a pic of the actual drawbar supplied by Kurt.
