Jun 25, 2017· I changed my square wheel grinder to a variable speed motor maybe 20 years ago. I don't remember what it cost. Something you may want to think about is the size of the drive wheel on the square wheel grinder. I found with the variable speed motor I needed a smaller drive wheel. Rob Frink made me one that fit perfectly.
